This family of six plus two black Labs needed a functional kitchen for entertaining and dining. All new custom cabinetry was installed with matching doors for the refrigerator and freezer. Plumbing included a dual basin sink with drying rack and a prep sink. A one-of-a-kind hanging soffit that matches the island exactly in shape and size with Xenon accent lighting illuminates the ceiling. The dogs got separate feeding stations at a height recommended by a vet; both had plumbing and dog food storage. A built-in garage was constructed for the water cooler. Thermostatically controlled heated flooring was installed in both the kitchen and dining areas. |

| The owners wished to make this bare lower level into an extension of the upstairs on a restricted budget. A “tray” ceiling was installed to mask the existing ductwork, creative use of arches and wide columns concealed load-bearing beams, and the staircase was opened up. A fireplace, custom maple bar, under mount sink, plumbing for a dishwasher, ceramic tile, billiards parlor with built-in pool cue alcove, custom vanity, walk-in shower, and glass French-style doors to the workout room were installed. All colors, textures, and woodwork were matched to the main level of the home. |
